Things To Do

Virgin Gorda is not your typical night life rowdy club type atmosphere. It is a very relaxing slower-paced island but there is still plenty to see and do.

Virgin Gorda boasts the Baths. The Baths is a National Park with massive boulders and beautiful beaches.  There are two restaurants and shopping at the Baths as well.

A few beaches we recommend are: The Baths, Spring Bay, Devil's Bay and Savannah Bay which is by far the biggest white sand Caribbean Beach on the island. All of which are 5 - 20 minutes away.

Leverick Bay is a 5 minute walk down the hill. There is a small convenience store at the marina as well as a couple of novelty shops. There are two restaurants and a bar.

Down at Leverick Bay you can rent jet skis, boats, sailboats, paddle boards and kayaks. See Brady Powerboat Rentals. They also do Snuba trips as well as snorkel trips to Anegada. You can rent a power boat with a captain who can take you all around the entire BVI.  There are many great snorkeling spots including the caves on Peter island. You can also go to White Bay on Jost Van Dyke.  There are many bars and restaurants such as the Soggy Dollar Bar.  Save time to play around on Sandy split and snorkel monkey point on the way back.

If you are into scuba diving, Dive BVI down in Yacht Harbor, near the ferry boat docks will take you anywhere you would like to go.

If you are into midnight snacks you have to go to the Midnight Baker "M&M Bakery" is located in the center of Spanish Town only open to the public in the evenings after 8 p.m. they have a great variety of breads pastries donuts and my favorite bread pudding. If you have the time you will enjoy the experience. Bring small bills and change don't try to break a $100 bill here.

Go and see the Old Copper Mine, the views there are breathtaking.  Waves crashing over the rocks is quite a sight.

If you are interested in real estate there are a couple of agents on the island that would be happy to show you some of the Villas. Call Bernadette George from Smith Gore Real Estate.
